Hymn written for the retirement of Pastor Ted & Elaine Zimmerman from public ministry. The Zimmermans leave Zion Lutheran Church & School in San Francisco after 21 years of service. Before that, they spent 22 years at St. John Lutheran in Napa, CA, and started out at Immanuel Lutheran/Loup City and Christ Lutheran/St. Paul, Nebraska.
